About Us
Founded with a deep commitment to cultural preservation, Suryashasthi Upasana Samiti is a registered socio-cultural and religious trust dedicated to promoting the rich traditions of Chhath Puja and other ancient Indian festivals. Our mission is to unite communities, foster spiritual awareness, and celebrate our sacred heritage through devotion and service.
The seeds of our movement were sown when a few dedicated families came together to observe Chhath Puja, one of the most revered Vedic festivals dedicated to Surya Dev (the Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya. Recognizing the need for a structured and collective effort, we officially registered Suryashasthi Upasana Samiti to ensure the seamless organization of religious events and community welfare programs.
